Senior Accountant to work immediately in Qatar 2012/2013

Seeking for a Senior Accountant work to work immediately in the Company for Tourism services in Qatar
Duties & Qualifications:
- Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule,
- Posts data to various ledgers, registers, journals and logs following established accounting techniques and procedures,
- Follow-up and monitoring of the company's accounts and hotels, banks and customer and resolve their problems,
- Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis,
- Formulating strategic and long-term business plans,
- Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance,
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk,
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities,
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Revenue,
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines,
- Arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities,
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation,
- Responsible for closing books at year end upon completion of annual audit,
- Possess the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives,
- Possess leadership qualities and the ability to manage the teamwork,
- Possess the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results. And the ability to work under pressure, and handle stressful situations,
- Demonstrate a high level of oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage the flow of people and business, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding sensitive and confidential matters, and maintain effective working relationships in a high volume environment
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to determine priorities meet regular deadlines and take follow up action.

Requirement:
- Location: Qatar with the possibility to transfer the sponsorship (NOC)
- Religion: Islam
- Gender: Male
- Experience: 5+ years accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus, preferably in the Travel/Tourism Industry
- Look: Good look
- Languages: (S/R/ W) Very well English and Arabic
- Computer: Good skills (Office package, Emails, IT)
- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
